JOB EVALUATION AND ANALYSIS
Success HR Solutions successfully undertook a comprehensive project for a major Mining company operating a large block cave copper mine and smelter complex in Limpopo. The mine employs approximately 2,500 full-time employees and 1,500 contract and temporary staff. Our engagement focused on the analysis and profiling of roles, which included the review and development of job descriptions for approximately 500 positions, as well as the grading and regrading of selected roles. The project scope extended beyond role profiling to encompass broader organisational development initiatives, including organisational design, and internal and external benchmarking to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Building on the success of this engagement, one of the major metropolitan municipalities in Gauteng and a State-Owned Entity in the Built and Regulatory sector subsequently appointed Success HR Solutions to deliver similar projects.
STRATEGIC HR SERVICES
We have been appointed by a prominent company in the Financial Services and Investment sector, established in 2017 and managing investment portfolios exceeding R100 billion, to provide strategic HR and operational services. Our role includes developing comprehensive HR strategies, performance management frameworks, HR policies and procedures, and fostering a high-performance culture.
We have also supported a rapidly growing organisation in the Health and Welfare sector in a similar capacity, helping to build strong HR foundations that align people, performance, and purpose. Both companies have entrusted us with these critical initiatives, reflecting our reputation as a dependable partner in strategic human capital development.
INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
We have entered into a retainer agreement on employee relations with two companies, one in the retail sector and another one in the manufacturing environment, to provide labour relations/employee relations services. Success HR Solutions assisted both companies with all employee relations matters from grievance handling, disciplinary processes as well as CCMA matters and the partnership is on-going.
TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
Success HR Solution (Pty) Ltd has placed temporary employees at one of the government departments. At the time of the assignment, the department was undergoing a merger with one other larger government department. As a result, there was disruptions that included a moratorium on permanent appointments while the department still had deliverables to achieve and required staff to be placed in roles for the key functions. We offered solutions that catered for disruption and ensured the department was able to perform and achieve its objectives during the merger.
SHORT TERM CONTRACTING
Success HR Solutions had provided resources for one of the Agencies of Government in the in the Science and Technology environment. The agency undertakes annual Mathematics and Science Olympiad in the country. The agency runs an annual Olympiad for the Department of Higher Education nationwide. Thousands of high school students, mainly in grades 8 and 12 participate in the Olympiad.
We were privileged to have been involved with the project in 2019 and in 2020 and delivered to the required standard of the client within the required time lines and at competitive rates.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Success HR solutions partnered with one of the Change Management specialists for a change management project aimed at creating the right work environment. The project was one of the highlights in change management area and it was delivered within the agreed time lines and covered all areas of the scope of work.
